As per the documents, the celebrity couple paid stamp duty amounting to ₹2.27 crore to complete the registration process.

Alibag Emerges as Luxury Property Hotspot

Alibag, a coastal town near Mumbai, has increasingly become a preferred destination for high-net-worth individuals and celebrities looking for expansive land parcels and luxury second homes. Improved infrastructure and a surge in premium residential developments have significantly enhanced the region’s appeal.

A major boost has come from the operationalisation of the Atal Setu, India’s longest sea bridge developed by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA). In addition, the roll-on/roll-off (Ro-Ro) ferry service has sharply reduced travel time between Mumbai and Alibag, making the destination more accessible than ever.

The enhanced connectivity, coupled with Alibag’s tranquil coastal environment, has positioned the region as one of Maharashtra’s fastest-growing luxury real estate markets.
