Deepankar Rattan Believes the Future of Education Needs More Than Technology — It Needs Understanding

The education industry is filled with software platforms promising efficiency and digital transformation. But according to Deepankar Rattan, technology alone is not enough to improve education. Real change happens when innovation is built around the actual struggles students, teachers, schools, and parents experience every day.

That belief became the foundation of REO360, an emerging platform focused on building a connected and practical ecosystem for modern education.

Deepankar’s journey into entrepreneurship did not begin inside a corporate boardroom. Coming from Jammu, he started young, driven by curiosity, ambition, and the desire to build something meaningful. As he explored the education space, he realized that many institutions were still relying on fragmented systems that created unnecessary stress for administrators, communication gaps for parents, and limited support for students.

Rather than creating another generic school management app, Deepankar wanted REO360 to feel useful at every level of the education process. The platform was designed to combine learning systems, analytics, smart technology, communication tools, and mental wellness support into one ecosystem capable of supporting schools more effectively.

In the early stages, building trust became one of the biggest obstacles.

Schools are naturally cautious when adopting new systems, especially from young startups. Many institutions preferred sticking to traditional processes instead of risking change. Without massive funding or an established name behind him, Deepankar had to rely on persistence, direct interaction, and product quality to move forward.

He personally spent time meeting schools, understanding their concerns, gathering feedback, and improving the platform step by step. Instead of chasing rapid hype, he focused on long-term credibility.

That approach gradually started paying off.

Today, REO360 is rapidly expanding and nearing the milestone of connecting almost 1,00,000 students through its growing network. The company’s progress reflects a rising demand for education platforms that are not only digital but genuinely practical.

Deepankar’s entrepreneurial journey has also earned recognition from respected institutions. He was invited as a panelist and young entrepreneur at Ramanujan College and later invited as a judge for entrepreneurship competitions at Delhi University, highlighting the growing influence of his work among students and startup communities.

Away from business, Deepankar is also a national-level hockey player — an achievement that has contributed significantly to his mindset as a founder. He often credits sports for teaching him resilience, patience, and the importance of consistency even during difficult phases.

Before fully focusing on REO360, he also built multiple ventures, including Delstreet, which gave him early exposure to entrepreneurship and problem-solving.

What separates Deepankar from many young founders is his focus on impact over attention. He believes entrepreneurship should solve meaningful problems rather than simply follow market trends. His advice to aspiring entrepreneurs reflects that mindset: begin before you feel completely ready, because waiting for certainty often delays growth.

Looking ahead, Deepankar envisions REO360 becoming one of India’s most trusted education technology ecosystems, with future plans for international expansion as well. But beyond growth, the larger mission remains centered on improving education through transparency, accessibility, and innovation.

As the Indian education landscape continues evolving, founders like Deepankar Rattan are showing that meaningful transformation comes from understanding people first — and building technology around their real needs.
