Content Creator Satyajit Majumder Joins 6,000 Enthusiasts for Record-Breaking Yoga Mahotsav 2026

At daybreak in the vast, meditative expanse of Kanha Shanti Vanam on the outskirts of Hyderabad, thousands gathered Saturday for what is now the formal beginning of India’s 50-day countdown to the International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2026. Organised by the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) under the Ministry of Ayush, the Yoga Mahotsav 2026 was far more than a ceremonial curtain-raiser; it was a disciplined attempt to scale global engagement and push yoga further into the realm of preventive healthcare. The morning reached a pinnacle of collective discipline when over 6,000 participants performed Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose) in perfect synchrony, officially entering the Asia Book of Records. Among the practitioners was Satyajit Majumder, a professional content creator from Kolkata and a Cultural Ambassador of India.

Majumder, known to his global digital audience as @thetwoinoneguy, was the only creator from West Bengalinvited by the Ministry of Ayush, Govt of India to represent the intersection of modern influence and traditional wellness. Reflecting on the scale of the gathering, Majumder stated, “Being part of a collective breath with 6,000 people at daybreak is a powerful reminder of our roots. This isn’t just about a record; it’s about making wellness a non-negotiable part of our daily hustle and professional discipline”. His presence underscored the government’s “Yoga 365” initiative, which aims to move yoga from a symbolic annual observance into a daily way of life. The event, attended by Union Ministers G. Kishan Reddy and Prataprao Jadhav, along with Heartfulness President Kamlesh D. Patel (Daaji), successfully bridged the gap between India’s ancient heritage and its digital future.
