CM Yogi Adityanath Calls for ‘Nation First’ Amid India-Pakistan Tensions

Mumbai: As tensions between India and Pakistan continue to escalate, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday urged the public to put the nation above all personal and family interests, emphasizing the need for collective resolve to strengthen India’s security and self-reliance.
Speaking at an event in Ayodhya, CM Yogi highlighted the importance of national duty, stating, “Developed India and self-reliant India will be created only when our resolve is linked to our duties, when India becomes our priority. Nation first, family, personal interests later.”
Reflecting on the transformation of Ayodhya, the Chief Minister said, “Eight years ago, no one would have even thought that four-lane roads would be built here, an international airport would be built. Today, we are seeing a new Ayodhya.”
In his speech, CM Yogi also expressed concern over the impact of negative social media posts on the morale of India’s armed forces, stating, “Today, a few people post tweets on social media that aim to weaken the morale of our soldiers. Why is this happening? Everyone’s goal should be ‘Nation First.’ When someone works with the spirit of keeping the nation above all, they build a generation that ensures the country’s safety and self-reliance.”
The Chief Minister paid tribute to the late Jagdish Gandhi, founder of the City Montessori School (CMS), acknowledging his enduring contribution to the field of education. “With courage and dedication, they created something meaningful in the field of education,” he said, noting that CMS now boasts around 65,000 students – a significant achievement in the realm of Indian education.
Amid his remarks, CM Yogi also appreciated a cultural performance by CMS students on the theme of “Adi Yogi,” reflecting the rich cultural heritage of India.
Meanwhile, reports of heavy shelling and cross-border firing continued to emerge from regions along the Pakistan border on Saturday, adding to the ongoing tension in the region.
Top government sources have also indicated that India has taken a firm stand on national security, declaring that any future act of terror will be considered an “act of war” and responded to accordingly, underscoring India’s unwavering commitment to its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
